Thanks Flame Red, installed a couple of Kip's full length mag tubes this weekend on my 1014 and a friends M4. While they were apart checked on recoil tube replacement. Had questions if the 1014 jam nut was pinned. Will proceed.Thanks again.

First post. The large nut on the end of the tube is it attached to the receiver or is it a jam nut? Thanks John
