  1. I am looking for a few items for my Supernova...

    1) Barrel/extension clamp with flashlight and/or sling mount. I've looked at getting the NC clamp and rail and adding a GG&G sling mount but I would prefer one integrated piece if possible. I believe Elzetta makes such a piece, but haven't been able to find many reviews.

    2) Receiver mounted shell holder. I know Mesa makes a nice top rail with side saddle mount, just wondering if there are any other options out there.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and Happy New Years to everyone.!

  2. I have for sale a Mesa Tactical 4 shot shell carrier for the Supernova. It's the one with the integral rail on top. I bought it off of a guy on here awhile back intending to put it on my Supernova, but never got around to it. I never used it, and I don't believe he used it much either. For $60 shipped its yours.

    SOLD!!!

  3. With regards to penetrating walls...I was always taught that shot, even buckshot is less likely to punch through a wall and cause collateral damage than a pistol round, even HP personal protection stuff. That being said I'm nowhere near an expert, so I'd be interested to hear any thoughts/evidence to the contrary.

  4. I think of it this way...if something goes bump in the night my immediately available options are M&P 9mm or Supernova with 00 buck. Two rounds from the Supernova will create the same number of holes as an entire magazine from my M&P. Its hard to argue with that math.

  5. I bought mine off a guy from this sight, so I didn't pay retail, but the typical number I see is around $80. If you keep your eye on Ebay you may be able to find one for much less...couple weeks ago somebody won one for $30. Hope this helps.

  6. Yeah that was the problem...per Benelli customer service, the tactical SN orginally with PG is not compatible with the Comfortech stock. However a tactical SN originally with Comfortech stock is compatible with PG. I'm not sure why Benelli would do this, but its the company line and no one here has offered proof otherwise, so that's what I'm going with. I'm pretty bummed too, because the PG I got in the deal fit great on my field version SN, but to be fair it's gotta go back to its original home.

  7. Yeah I thought it should as well. Here are some more specific details. There seem to be two problems. First is that the two guns have two very different sized washers holding the stock onto the metal tube, which I believe is fixed easily enough by just switching the washers. The second problem is that when the Comfortech stock is placed all the way onto the metal tube on the tactical SN, there is a gap between the stock and the receiver. The pieces of the shim kit will fill some of that gap, but I'm not sure that they will completely make up the difference. Again any suggestions would be appreciated.

  8. Here's the situation. Another forum member and I traded SN stocks. He has a SN tactical with PG and I have a SN with Comfortech stock. We swapped stocks, but my Comfortech stock does not seem to be compatible with his SN tactical. Benelli customer service says that while you can switch a Comfortech to a PG, one cannot switch a gun originally configured with PG to Comfortech. Is this true, and if not, is there anyone willing to help figure out the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  9. If there is a Dick's sporting goods nearby you might give them a call. I know they can order Supernova PG stocks, and am pretty sure they will order M2 PG stocks as well.
