Looking to put a Red Dot site on my Nova. Does anyone recommend a platform to use in order to install a Weaver style mounting system? The ones I saw seemed like they needed to be drilled into the reciever which would require me to take to a gunsmith. Please let me know if there is any other way. Thanks in advance

Just wanted to know if there was a way to shorten the length of pull for a Nova without cutting the stock? Was thinking about the ComforTech® Gel Recoil Pads but did not know if there were any other options. Any information would he greatly appreciated and apologize if this question has been asked before.
