Carry 3 guns several miles and get back to us. Carry your supporting equipment and ammunition load out you plan to haul.
A long arm and a side arm are common and easy to do. I do it weekly. Carrying 3 is a PITA and heavy. Last year on a back country hike, a friend injured his leg. So on top of carrying my gear, I had to sling his Benelli M4 and light pack. So I had my pack, his pack, my LMT MRP, his M4 and my other gear on my belt.
That was a long hike back.
The 12 gauge is difficult to justify due to the weight of the ammunition. I know everyone here is SOG and can hump their weight in gear across any terrain for days at a time without detection.
I'm definitely a SOG (Slow Old Grandpa). I had a similar experience a few years back when my son killed a nice buck 2 miles away from the truck. I had to carry 3 rifles, binos, rangefinder, steady sticks, etc. plus my fat a_ _ while my son and nephew drug the deer out. I would opt for my G-21SF and LMT CQB MRP.

Nice looking set up.

Thanks for the additional information and the offer of help!

Thanks! I just ordered one. I booked marked your tutorial on the disassembly/assembly. Was there any particular heat range(temp) that you maintained and did you use a commercial heat gun?

Best way to deal with the middle position is to run an optic. I use the T1 and the height is perfect. Use of the iron sights is doable, but not intuitive. A skilled machinist could mill additional grooves. However, they might not heat treat them like the factory does. Note the discoloration on each groove.
There is a m1014 tube on gunbroker right now if I recall. They go for a premium due to people needing them in commie States.
Numrich only has 2 and 3 position tubes. None of which are properly marked. The stripped units are 2 position, and the more expensive complete assemblies are 3 position.
Will the Numrich 3 position tube fit a 11701 M1014

I have a 28 " Benelli M1 S90 barrel for sale. I'm trying to determine a fair price. It has a Vent rib and comes with 3 chokes, IC ,MOD, and Full. I know that these older barrels are hard to find but I'm not looking to gouge anyone, just wanting a fair price.
