  2. Tucker thats pretty funny. I have a sense of humor so it's ok. I'd shoot you with my shotgun but oh wait I don't have one anymore :p. To those of you who have seen pics of my benelli I can assure you that the one she is getting is not the crew served death machine that I spent a year upgrading. She's getting a bare bones m4 and when I find another it will be my new crew served death machine and I will continue upgrading it until I have to get a trailer just to take it to the range:cool:

  3. Thanks everyone for the support. It doesn't hurt too bad because I know either her or her dad will actually shoot it. She likes shotguns and when we were on better terms I bought her a Super Nova which she liked very much. I'm gonna be on the look out for M4 deals. I paid 1200 for the one she's getting. It was used but it fantastic shape. It could be worse I have several guns and she coulda asked for half of them but she just wanted my benelli and a Taurus pt24/7 which I never shoot anymore since I have 2 glocks now.

  4. So after mediation with the soon to be ex wife I have to give her my benelli m4. She wanted that and one of my pistols out of my gun collection. I LOVE that shotgun but Saturday I must say goodbye to it.

Moral of the story don't get divorced. It could cost you your favorite shotgun.

  5. She is okay, I suppose. But then again I've been drinking...

    How dare you!!!

Haha just kidding. I never said she was perfect. She's cute and my shotgun is awesome so put those together and you have a pretty good picture.

I'm thinking of driving around anchorage finding the most attractive women I can find and asking if they would like to take a picture holding my gun. I work at the jail now but I'm pretty sure of I do that I will be living there for quite some time!

  6. I took my wife and 17 yo daughter to shotgun classes with my M4. A female instructor was there also and encouraged them and made fun of me no end, which is fine as they both enjoy shooting now. After 75 rounds my daughter said the M4 was to heavy, so the instructors lent her a 20Ga Remington 870 pump. She loved it and went on the finish out the day. I ended up buying her one.

The whole idea is to encourage and nuture them to become gun lovers

I agree 100%. She wasnt really worried about recoil like most new shooters are but just intimidated by guns in general. She still said she had a good time and wants to do it again. Next time we go out hopefully ill have my ruger MKIII back in working order so she can have fun with that and work her way up into the bigger stuff.

  7. She was. She only shot one shot through the M4 and that was after alot of convincing. She kept saying "im such a sally when it comes to guns" but after we were done she said she wanted to go again because she had fun.

  8. You might even consider the Benelli M3 Convertible which the military and police all over the world depend on. This shotgun can be quickly changed from a fast cycling semi-auto for conventional loads to a manual pump action for low energy special purpose loads such as gas, beanbag and rubber bullet loads. For semi-auto action, merely rotate the selector ring 1/4 turn, push the forend forward and release the selector, to switch back to pump action simply reverse the procedure.

The M3 can be purchased for under $1300 and as low as $1100.

The Benelli M4's can run from $1450 all the way up to $1900+.

If your man intends to put a lot of accessories and gadgets on his Benelli, then I would say that the M4 is the best choice. The inertia guns can have cycling issues if you hang a lot of weight from them; lights, shell carriers, scopes, other gadgets and the story on the internet was that the military specs required a gun that could handle the gadgets and that is why Benelli developed the ARGO gas system for the M4.

    M3

I agree the M3 is another great option. My buddy has one and always rubs it in my face when I tell him about my M4 not cycling reduced recoil rounds saying " you shoulda got a M3"

  9. The Benelli M2 Tactical is also a great choice. It is a no-nonsense 12-gauge shotgun that is also used by police and military the world over . Like all Benelli semiautomatic shotguns the M2 Tactical is Inertia Driven. The M2 can be found for under $1200.

I thought the M4 uses the argo system not inertia drive?

  10. Every man's shotgun dream is the M4 and if you don't know it yet, I suspect your boyfriend is no different. That's if he knows his shotguns of course. If hunting is not his forte, the M4 is what he will get later if you get him the M2 now. You will blow his mind with the M4 if he knows anything about guns, If he knows his Benellis, he will be dissapointed you did not get the M4 but won't show it. He will pretend to be happy with the M2. The M2 is a good gun, but the real tactical king is the M4.;)

    Agreed. Jonesbb speaks the truth
