    For anyone else interested in this question, I emailed benelli customer service and their reply is that the mr1 is chambered for both 5.56 and .223, so good to go.
  2. Either/Or
    Barrel says .223, manual says shoot what the barrel says, all advertisement, reviews, etc say 5.56. Hence the worry. I will have tO call benelli customer service.
  3. Either/Or
    The MR1 is advertised as being able to fire 5.56 as well as .223, but the barrel on mine is only stamped as .223. Can the MR1 safely fire 5.56 ammunition?
