  1. Sorry, but I got it and have it mounted. Great deal.
  2. Very nice. I also went with the Mesa Tactical shell holder and will have to look into some of the other modifications you made to yours. Thanks for posting.
  3. Thanks for replying. I don't want to grind my stock on my Super Nova. I think I will just add a rail to the top of my Nova and put the Fast Fire on that way. If I add a Fast Fire to the Super Nova I will use a rail there as well.
  4. Okay, the camo mount hasn't arrived yet but the one that came with my used Super Nova is made by Weaver and it is part # 48443 423M. It says "one piece base used on Benelli Nova Shot". It won't work with my Tactical model as the rear ghost ring is in the way but the holes seem to line up just fine otherwise. The camo model will be in tomorrow and I'll update you on that one once it arrives.
  5. I have a Supernova at the house and it came with a Weaver mount. I'll check to see what model # it is as I am going to use a Mesa Tactical instead. I also ordered the camo mount you mentioned and will see when it shows up in a few days if the holes line up with the Supernova and I'll post the results.
  6. Thanks guys. I downloaded the manual and will go over the shotgun tomorrow. I appreciate the help.
  7. I have a Benelli Super Nova and will be adding a Benelli Nova pump to the rotation and I had a question for you. I want to add a Burris speed bead to the Nova and perhaps another one to the Super Nova. Does anyone know if the receivers on these are the same so I can use the same Burris Speed Bead on both of them? I sent a letter to Burris but I figured you guys would know better than them as to whether the stock / receiver interface is the same. thanks.
  8. I just bought a used Benelli Super Nova Tactical from a gunshop and the action is stiff. It was made in 2010 and I think it was either never fired or only shot very little as it was mint when I got it. I have put probably 50 rounds through it so far (all slugs) and I love the gun but I can't work the action fast. It is like it is all gummed up and sluggish to move. I intend to detail clean it as soon as I can find a manual but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as what I should look for. I did oil the action and the two bars before hitting the range the 1st time with Hoppes #9 lubricating oil. Thanks.
  9. Hey guys, I just picked up my used Benelli Super Nova that I picked up on gunbroker and the transferring dealer noticed that the serial number on the receiver and the number on the barrel do not match. I am sure it will work fine but I was just wondering if that means that the barrel was not the original? I am thinking that for whatever reason it isn't the original barrel but everything looks just fine and I will be hitting the range with it in the morning. Thanks.
