I've read posts on lubing the recoil tube and spring and other that say don't do it----run it dry. What are the thought here on the subject? New wolff spring coming in today. Thanks

I just received my shotgun back from Benelli for a few problems that I was having. They gave me a new barrel, saying the old one had problems. Anyway when I install the new barrel I do not hear the audible CLICK that is used to on my old one. Still the barrel is aligned properly and it can be pulled out of the receiver with little or no effort. When the forarm is installed and tighten, it is very snug. The owner's manual says you should hear this click. I called customer service and the lady says that the forearm tightening should be enough. What are your thoughts? Thanks, John
