OK. No trying the lefty loosie trick on the front sight. Thanks for the info.

On the M1 and M2 Tactical there are open sights.The rear sight is mounted on the barrel just ahead of the receiver and the front sight is a triangle shaped blade. (See M2 Tactical photo on this site) My question is how is this front sight attached to the barrel? Is it threaded on like a bead?
