If I purchase a SBE II with a non-comfort tech walnut stock, could I buy a synthetic comfort-tech stock set for it in the future if I want?

For all the reasons listed above: I have decided to go against what all my buddies are telling me and I'm getting an SBE II with the traditional blued barrel and satin walnut stock. I've hunted with a Win 1300 for 17 years with minor wear. I know how to take care of a gun and I just dont think camo belongs on a gun... especially with all the cosmetic problems it seems to present when it starts wearing.

I'm looking for an SBE II with a satin Walnut stock. I found one through a dealer online that states it's New In Box, date of manufacture is 2007. Assuming this is true, is this the exact same gun I would buy if I walked into a dealer and bought one that was manufactured in 2011? Or have there been improvements/adjustments/tweaks to the SBE II and they just kept the model name the same?
