Gap_Splitter

I just picked up a SBE 2 field gun last week and decided to get the rifled slug barrel this week. The web site said in order to use the rifled slug barrel I needed to also get the slug forend, which I did. Everything came to my house today, but the forends look exactly the same and both barrels fit on both forend, I see no difference what so ever. Is there a difference that I'm not seeing? Did I receive the same field forend? I mean the damn forend cost me $125 and for what??? I think I should send it back, but I'm not sure. Anyone who know about the field and slug forend that could help me out, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jim
