1. I have a question.Having recently(2weeks ago) received my SBE II and reading about the "break in"and reading about how some are having cycling problems. Is that condition inherent to All Benelli shotguns? The reason I ask is that as soon as I assembled mine right out of the box,I tried clay loads and the gun worked perfect. Then I mixed and matched the following:3-1/2" nitro mags,3" turkey loads and Winchester pheasant loads along with the Clay target loads.I fed my SBE II everything and anything in any and all combinations of shells and my gun never skipped a beat.Did I get the oddball benelli that just didn't need a "break in"?Is the M4 using different springs?VS the SBE II

    Here she is!!

I've read about that also but my SBE II always has cycled almost all rounds except some very low power 7/8 and 1 oz loads that I use in my 100 year old model 97 cowboy action shotgun. SBE II is the best all around shotgun IMO.

  2. Strange times indeed. If someone offered me that much for mine I would have to think hard to convince myself not to do it. Makes me wonder what I could get for my HK M1. I'll say this though, about a month ago I traded 400 rds of 223 ammo to a LGS for a S&W MOD 27-2 3.5 inch even. Strange times!

  3. My M4 with new CC mag tube. I like it just like this.

Here it is with his older brother. He's from Chantilly VA, and he holds 7 in the tube of anything.

  4. Welcome, I've had mine since November. It took 3 months to get my tube and I ordered it just before the panic. I went with the Geissele hammer instead of the forend for my three parts. The tube change out is easy.

  5. I am proud to announce that my carrier comp magazine tube finally arrived after being ordered 11-28-2012. I think I was caught up in the panic storm. I am very pleased with the tube although I could not get 7 winchester 2 3/4 00B in it with the spring provided it, but with my original spring in all is well. With my Geissele hammer in and the CC follower I am happy and I think LEGAL.

  6. The wood stock guns look nice and I like they're look best but a Benelli wood will have more recoil than the others. I have one of the first Super Sports and like it a lot but my first pick for an all around Benelli would be the Super Black Eagle II.

  7. Yes, I have, but on an M1 not an M4. I had purchased a used H&K M1 and it did that same click you described. What I found was the recoil spring plunger sticking because someone had removed the recoil spring tube and slightly oblonged the end of the tube making the plunger stop right at the end of the tube. I squeezed it back into proper shape and it was fixed. Same shotgun had a new firing pin in it that was sticking in the bolt. I thought that was the problem at first but I smoothed it out with some croacus cloth and it was ok. Now I have a nice shooting 9 shot H&K M1.:)
