  1. I sent mine to benelli and they fixed whatever the problem was. It was covered under warranty so, of course, they don't tell you what they fixed. Haven't had any problems since. I suspected something was off with the firing pin or the firing pin spring but I can't be sure.

did you send the whole shotgun to benelli or did you just send in the firing pin?

  2. Mine sits flush with the receiver. I counted 16 "teeth" on your rail, mine has 15. They might have sent you a wrong one.

this is getting real confusing! i just looked up a picture from amazon.com and judging by the pictures somebody else has the same issue as i do w/ the 16 teeth! but along side of it, they are showing a picture with 15 teeth as one for sale.

It's supposed to be like that. For the last year or so these items were machined with a certain number of recoil grooves that caused that slight overhang you noticed. It's not a defect. 4. I recently installed a Burris Speedbead + Fastfire II Optic on my Benelli Supernova Tactical. After installation, I noticed that it doesn't sit perfectly flush on the pistol grip. I can feel a very small gap on the left side as the right side sits fine. Is this a problem that should be addressed or am I just being super anal?

I also removed the small boomerang shaped foam sticker from the rear area to fit it on easier...does that foam serve a purpose such as shock absorbancy or alignment?

I co-witness the Burris along with my ghost ring sights and after a few adjustments everything lines up.

  5. I had just recently acquired a 6 shot sureshell carrier from Mesa Tactical...I installed it and it seems a bit off...the picatinny rail section is a little longer than the receiver area (surface it sits on). Is it supposed to be this way or did I get a factory defect?

    Please see pics...

  6. I'm using a Streamlight TLR-2S with a coiled remote mounted on a Nordic barrel clamp/pic rail. Solid as a rock:

i am waiting to get the nordic setup. is your TLR2S the one w/ the green laser as well?

also, where did you get that sling setup? i was looking for a clip like that but don't know what it's technically called.

  7. The video was interesting, but I was thinking about asking Streamlight if they recommended using this light mounted on a weapon. Looks like a great light for the price, even if they say no. I was thinking about this one with a single cell CR123a light: http://www.amazon.com/Single-Shotgun-Magazine-Tubes-Mount/dp/B003V08BAM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1355448878&sr=8-5&keywords=flashlight+shotgun+mount+L+M but it might work with that one also.

    Thanks! I'll look into it.

  8. How do you plan to mount it on the SNT and is it rated as a weapon light? Not all handhelds are designed to withstand the recoil of a shotgun.

this video (borrowed from YOUTUBE) should answer your second question. as for mounting it...i'll have to figure that one out. scope mount on nordic clamp w/ pic/weav rail maybe?

  9. so wait, is it true that the gun will always hit what the red dot is on? i find this hard to believe. i just installed mine but have yet to test it. i am co-witnessing it with my ghost ring sights on my SNT. i move my head and it just seems the dot moves around too?

also, i still cannot see how i can aim and shoot with both eyes open with this thing...what am i missing here?

i have a speedbead mount with a FAST FIRE II dot.

  10. one last question, does the rubber limb saver part of the collapsible stock come off like the one on the pistol grip stock?

i would like to attach the limbsaver rubber of the pistol grip onto the c-stock...has anybody done this?

  11. OK, i got a small 2" Husky clamp from Home Depot along with a rubber mallet. While using the clamp to depress that PITA button, i smacked the stock portion real good twice and it finally slid in. TOOLS USED and OUTCOME below...

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AND INPUT GUYS!

  12. OK, i will try with a mallet and a small clamp to press the button in. my thumb is all bruised up from all the hard pressing last night. THANKS GUYS! i will post some pics when i finally get this sucker in.
