  1. You can see where the plate is rubbing on the main section. I almost want to put some polishing compound on there and work it several times... Or, Maybe put a shim under the spring to make a little more tension ?????? 20180618_192803 by F G, on Flickr
  2. It started doing it a few shots in to the round.. No, the floor plate mechanism was not taken apart, it was sprayed with CLP cleaner / lube. If you push it up in, it stays in.. feels like it has very little to no return spring
  3. New gun.. taken apart, cleaned, oiled and reassembled. Shot 100 rounds of Sporting Clays yesterday and When I feed a shell in to the open receiver and close it with the release button, then feed a shell in to the magazine tube, the floor plate stays in the "IN" position and I have to try to snag it with a fingernail to get it to drop back down so the second shot will feed. Am I doing something wrong? Loading it wrong? Pretty embarrassing having to do this to a new $2000 gun
  4. Got my "high" rib in the mail today and put it on... Made all the difference in the world... like a whole new gun.
  5. I ordered a "high" rib from Midwest, we'll see how it does... or.. how I do with it
  6. I asked,,, So, would the sporting rib be the same as the low rib or higher than? Ally11:29 amI believe the same height. Unfortunately we do not have the exact dimensions on those. If you contact Benelli directly with the part numbers they should be able to provide you with exact dimensions on those.
  7. Here's what I got from the chat box on Midwest gun works.. The sporting rib is generally wider. The high rib would be taller. Take that for what it's worth, not gospel, only what the chat head said
  8. You just asked the same question I came to ask. .. I'm assuming these guns come with the "low" rib from the factory
