The company sent me a new one that fits perfectly.

Hi all, I just purchased a Carlson magazine extender for my benelli SBE 1. It is the older black model maybe around the year they started making camo versions. Regardless, I purchased a Carlson's mag extender at Cabelas and couldn't get it to thread on. What's odd is that a friend has the new sbe2 and it goes right on as does the cap of my gun. In fact he can use mine and I can use his cap. Anyone ever hear of this?
