  1. I'm hoping someone from Benelli reads this as imo Stoeger is not representing the Benelli brand at all and the standards by which I grew up with. I know I was told that they can't do anything when I called benelli head office as I'm in Canada but I think they need to have more control over anyone that represents them.
  2. Hi guys I've solved my problem thanks to Al Flahertys outdoor store who helped me when Stoeger wouldn't. I was stripping and cleaning it before going to do final test with slow rate of fire, when I noticed my barrel was loose when I tightened it al the way the gun would not line up to reassemble. So the only way to line it up was to have it not fully tightened to the receiver. I was now certain that I found the problem when I showed Dom from Flahertys he gave me a new barrel on the spot. I went up and it sticks everything under 2" good ammo closer to 1" after about 25 shots my groupings opened to 3-4" which was not possible before from cold barrel. Although I am satisfied I'm still pissed that this went this far if wasn't for the store I would of been screwed as Stoeger tested and said nothing wrong and refused to let me witness another test that I requested because our test were obviously showing different results. Thank god the store helped me and I hope they get rembursed by Stoeger as hopefully they have more pull than me. I grew up on Benelli but I will never buy a gun that this company is affiliated to, I believe that the fact that they took a customers gun inspected it, tested it, and sent it back with a clear problem like this is not just underhanded but borderline criminal negligence. Beware of Stoeger and thank you Flahertys.
  3. No prob bud thanks for the support I guess I'm gonna go back up and take 3 shots in an hour lol and then either send it back or if it groups then I have a piston driven carbine that's less effective then my muzzleloader. Hey maybe if I miss I coyote I could ask him if I could go grab a coffee and to meet me back here in 20 lmao
  4. Yea bud I'm really leaning on selling it for real just want some opinions if to achieve this grouping that it's reasonable for them to say you must wait 10-20 minutes between shots. If this true then the test they did when I sent it in with 5 groupings 3 shots each would of taken 2.5-5 hours seems a little strange to me that they say this is the only way it can achieve that accuracy. I would love someone else with an mr1 to please way in either yes mine shoots good 1 shot at time but can't hold groups otherwise or no what they're telling you is nonsense
  5. [h=2]re: benelli mr1 accuracy[/h] Hi guys i posted about the poor accuracy of my benelli mr1 and my problems with stoeger, theres been some developments. basically my gun couldn't group better than 6-8 inches at 100 yards. As benelli guarantees 2" at this range i sent it in they sent it back with 5 1.5" groups and said it was fine. they used federal btmg 68 gr and american eagle fmj 55 gr. Ive tried the american eagle cant find the federal but used hornady mg 75 gr along with many other kinds. also i've changed the mounts tried 3 different scopes and put my bushnell elite 6500 on a 22-250 bolt action savage and was able to group 1" at 50 and 100 yards with it even did a 3" box test at 100 yards shot dialed up 3" shot left same shot down same shot right same and i drew the box and last shot where i started the scope responds and is fine. also got others to shoot same paid for instructors time at gun range he shot also one of the range officers same they even dated and signed the targets and said they cant believe that its even a question for them as something is clearly wrong. called stoegar back they didnt seem to care about my findings and said i'm welcome to send it again i asked if i can witness the test as we are obviously having very different results no was the answer against policy. so finally i went back to al flaherty's where i bought it they were very helpful and said they would speak to them and if they refuse to help they would let me exchange for something else guess they called stoegar and stoegar replied that if it cant shoot 2" groups that they would honour it but asked how long i'm waiting between shots they said to try again wait 10-20 minutes between each shot and also run a bore snake through between shots. does this sound insane to anyone else even if this would work would make the gun useless as a coyote gun and even if it would perform in this way is it a technicality they could withhold warranty claim on or is there an acceptable time between shots that a semi should be able to repeat shots accuratly. Sorry for the length guys but its been a long process any opinions appreciated thanks.
  6. I've shot and my cousin has shot also we are both shooting from a bench with front rest we own many different rifles and able to group 2" with all other rifles I've switched mounts tried another scope you can't predict were it will hit at 100 yards at 50 and below its not bad although even 50 yards it only groups 3". I've tried everything and they've tested it my tests have included most of they're ammo also can't get close to 2". I think the type of help I'm looking for is can I request a re test and to be present or can I get a third party to test it and legally are they obligated to replace barrel as I don't wanna spend more money for nothing
  7. Hello I'm new here it's my first time posting. I bought a Benelli mr1 and put weaver mounts with a bushnell elite 6500 2.5x16x50 on it. Tried 10 different brands of ammo and grains From 55 to 68, Benelli guarantees 2" grouping at 100 yards mine can't hold 6". Sent it in to Stoeger Canada they sent it back saying it's fine sent me paper with 5 diff groups inside 2" although there were couple "crazy pellets". So I changed mounts same, borrowed my cousins scope barksa 4x16x50 from his 22-250 which puts them in an inch with his rifle same results. I mean I'll shoot my 6" metal target and literally hit it 50% of time so based on this just want opinions or help on what to do. Am I screwed, do I send it again, do I or can I request to witness their test. Please help!
