Apparently there are two different walnut stocks that fit an M1 Super 90. The original stock that I have was cut 2" and had the A, B and C back plates that have a lobe on one side so they fit only one direction. The new stock I purchased has a more square recess for the back plate. The stock fits well into the receiver so that isn't an issue and the original back plates work they are just not fitted. The stock tightens up well and feels solid. Has anyone else come across this and is it an issue?
