  1. Benelli used a finish on 4 guns they called grip tight. The four guns are the 20ga black M2, 20ga black cordoba, the 12 gauge black cordoba and an black r1 rifle, I don't know the caliber. This is what I was told when I called about my M2. They replaced the stock and forend on my 12 year old M2 under warranty, They warned me it would take a while to get both parts and it did but I did get them
  2. The top of the barrel on all of the guns in the super black eagle line is actually the barrel extension which screws onto the barrel itself. It obviously should be rock solid with no movement or "looseness." They use a very strong loctite that requires a good amount of heat to be able to separate the extension from the barrel so I have to assume the was an issue when they attached the extension at the factory. I'd call Benelli
  3. Where can I find the research that determines the barrels are too thin around the choke?
