I followed some advice on the forum and shortened the mag spring.

After buying the Briley carbon fiber mag tube I had this problem as well.  I cut the spring a couple times, but still couldn't get it where I wanted it.  I ended up buying a spring from Carriercomp and it worked perfect, no cutting.

  2. I am interested in this as well.  I have the Benelli collapsible stock, and although I like it, the adjusting part can be a bit finicky.  Curious what you guys have to say!

    No, it can’t.
Carlsons makes a different model that is a cylinder choke and that can shoot slugs. The one you posted is an Extra Full. Put a slug though that then get back to us with the results.

The one I bought is the cylinder (84130) and will/does shoot slugs.

Thanks for the info... that looks sinister. Is it suitable for both 00 buck and slugs? I'm interested to know if you think it makes a difference as a compensator vs. just a cool looking breaching tool. Let us know.

I am taking it out next week to shoot. It is rated to handle any type of shot. I will have to let you know as far as the compensator is concerned. But I am guessing that it will work like any other type of muzzle brake.

Nothing wrong with recoil management. If it works for you and gives you an advantage then it's a worthy piece of kit for you. I believed my m4 needed a weight loss plan. I waited with baited breath for a CC titanium tube to show up in the mail. I appreciate the difference in how the weapon handles. I personally have no reason for a break (but would love to find a flush Teague titanium choke stateside). Porting the Barrell has also crossed my mind a time or two.

I've been trying to shave weight on an m4 and SCAR 17 lately (due to scoliosis induced back pain )so my opinion is admitadly bias in favor of the "pounds equal pain" argument.

M4s are hella fun to build up. We all want to ours to serve our own specific purpose and intent. Godspeed with your build brother. If you get one please review it in regards to performance & muzzle climb.

Will do. For the price, I think I may pick it up. I'm gonna do a little more pondering on it, but I will most certainly reply back to this thread on my findings. Thanks for your insight and good luck on your weight loss goals!

Let us know how it goes.

I can't promise there isn't some 2 3/4 shell out there that won't allow for 7 in the tube, but everything I have fits now. I'm just not a fan of trimming springs when there's full springs out there that work.

So just got the Wolff spring in, and installed it a few minutes ago.  I was able to get 7   2 3/4  shells in, without modifying (cutting) the spring.  I measured the length of the spring from the end of the mag tube to the remaining portion of the spring and it measured right at 11".  Thanks for your help with this one!!!

You asked for "thoughts". I'm not judging you bro. "One man's trash is another man's treasure" they say. There's no debating that fact.

True.  The main reason I am interested in it is the brake.  The breaching aspect of it is just a plus.  What is your opinion on the muzzle brake?

If you're breaching doors a breacher choke might be somewhat useful (but definitely not necessary) to get that done. I'm not convinced there's any positive benefits to these things but that's just my point of view.

I know it isn't necessary, but it is something I would like, for various reasons.  I didn't post this to debate the necessity of it...  I appreciate your opinion though!

  9. Hey guys, I know this item is incredibly hard to get, and I am checking the internet daily to see if I can find one.  I know it is just a matter of time, but was wondering if any of you all could point me in the right direction for a good place to find one.  A member told me that they found theirs on ebay, so I check that daily.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I am also interested in an alternative too.  I would prefer to have the Benelli item, but I am willing to look at others.  Thanks in advance and sorry if this subject has been touched on already.  I really enjoy coming to this forum and reading what you all have to say.  There is a ton of awesome info I get from you guys.  Thanks again!

I got mine on eBay. Otherwise you’re just going to have to be patient. It’s the name of the game with rare quality foreign guns.

Thanks for the reply!  I figured as much, but thought I would ask.

  11. I am trying to get a hold of the Breacher/brake. I am not having much luck as it is "Sold Out" on Benelli's site and I'm having no luck on the Web. Any help would be much appreciated. Benelli M4 Muzzle Brake W/ non Choke Adapter

  12. I know this is a bit off topic, but I am looking for the Benelli M4 Muzzle Brake W/ non Choke Adapter and I see that the Benelli website is "Sold Out".  I have been trying to search the Web for one with no success.  Does anyone know where I may be able to find one?
