I’ve got a benelli Vinci that is an incredible gun…except for the fact that I’m having issue with light loads even with the recommended 1 1/8oz loads. It will fire the first round, eject it and fail to feed the next round into the chamber. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a specific part that is causing these issues I can replace or any upgrades to prevent these issues? I just replaced the recoil spring hoping it would help but to no avail. I’m at a loss, I love the gun for waterfowl shooting 3” steel flawlessly but for dove or target shooting it is beginning to irritate me not knowing the fix to this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looking at finding a good 2 3/4” 1 1/4oz dove load. Trying to avoid any cycling issues during dove season. 1 1/8oz loads haven’t seemed very consistent for me so I’m hoping maybe the 1 1/4 oz will be better. Seems every intertia driven gun I’ve owned has had issues with light loads, my vinci included. Planning to replace my recoil spring ASAP but they’re currently out of stock everywhere, hoping they will restock before season rolls around but If not maybe these loads will be the solution or atleast cut down on FTE FTF. Any similar experiences?

This is a long shot but does anyone have an extra recoil spring for a Vinci laying around or know of anyone that does? They’re obviously out of stock everywhere and I’m in need of one ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not that I know of, I was under the impression there were no aftermarket springs for the Vinci?

Recently picked up a vinci on trade. Love everything about the gun as I’ve owned one previously. However, took it out to shoot the other day and ran some light dove loads through it...I’m running into issues here. I ran several sets of 3 shells through the gun. Mostly Remington, a few fiochhi. What I noticed is how slow the bolt closes back after a shot goes off often causing a FTE and failure to feed the next shell and also notice how slow the gun is throwing the shells....I ran a 3” turkey load through it and it did just fine, ejected and locked the bolt back no problem. I’m curious if anyone has experienced this as well? I’ve heard maybe replacing recoil spring? Just seems with the lighter loads they aren’t producing enough power to eject and feed the next shell. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I apologize for not knowing all the technical terms.
