  1. I watched several videos about cleaning the M2 and I do not recall any discussion of dry lubes. This is good to know and will start this. Thank you!
  2. Thank you for the quick response! It looks clean as ever when I look thru it, just me overreacting I guest. thanks again
  3. Hey guys. just took my new M2 out for about 3-4 pheasant hunts over the past 3 weeks. I’d say on average shot 4-12 shots per outing because the size of the groups i didn’t think I’d need to clean my barrel so soon and wondering if you guys think this is rust i let the hoppes sit for 10 minutes and then cleaned as usual and looked fine after the black residue came out with clean patches. But after I ran oil thru the patch came out kind of brown in streaks? After 3-4 passes it wasn’t bad at all, but curious what caused it to be brown?
  4. Yeah I probably will let it go. Easy to get worked up over it being perfect when you drop that kind of money. But yes sooner or later it will have a bunch of scratches on it from hunting. Thanks guy
  5. Hey guys. I’ve had my m2 with optifade timber camo for 3 days. Put 6 rounds thru it just to feel it out, then went to put the full choke in to see how some turkey rounds would pattern its then I noticed two small chips near the end of the barrel. Wanted input on what to do. Am I overreacting due to how small they are, or is this something I should contact benelli about? I will post the chips below and also a pic of my Nova that is much older but with bad wear near the barrel I guess I’m paranoid about my m2 ending up like this as well
