  1. That's a damn shame. They were the only ones making a detachable saddle built for the M4 platform. I wish I'd bought more of the attachments, though putting them on is a bit finicky, so it doesn't really work as a quick saddle reload solution. But it would've been nice for generally swapping saddle loads as easily as swapping cards. Generally, the best things about it is 1) you're not committed to have a side saddle mounted on all times and 2) due to the aluminum construction/detents, it will never fatigue and wear out like the plastic shell holders This is the next closest thing, but you have to frickin 3M tape it to your receiver which I hear works fine, but is still kind of sad to me https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/aridus-industries-qd-c-universal-side-saddle/
  2. Letting go of this 8" Briley M4 M-Lok handguard. In like-new condition. Never mounted anything to it, never even fired my M4 with it on. See attached, pictures speak for themselves on condition and happy to provide other pics if requested. I bought this specificially because it's one of the few tool-less handguards that fits exactly like the OEM plastic forend, without any set screws marring the barrel or other nonsense. Only letting it go since a friend of mine virtually gave me one of the new factory rail handguards. These are currently on back-order until June at Briley. Asking for $300 shipped within the 48 states via USPS priority mail, which saves you shipping, taxes and 2 months of wait time.
  3. what is made of? how much does it weigh? We don't know. My main reasons for wanting a factory rail rather than an aftermarket is that I want one that installs without tools like the polymer forend, I don't want set screws marring up the barrel, and I want something I KNOW is built to spec and doesn't need shims or slightly oversized and busting the welds
  4. Interesting, hadn't realized it's already out there. First time I've heard of it. One would think someone, somewhere would have parted one out by now, or a third party would clone it. Anyway, I took the time to call Benelli US customer service about it.. The rep I spoke to said they don't even have the 11714 in country at all yet, it's LE only, supposedly backordered/preordered 400+ units, and, in line with what you said, they don't currently sell the handguard separately to anyone, including LE. I'll get my hands on one of these someday...
  5. All the posts about aftermarket forends and no one is excited Benelli came out with their own..?
  6. Looks like it's the real deal, a factory multirail handguard!!! Benelli 11714 and 11729 come with this. Anyone have part number or other info?!
  7. Posting in case anyone comes across this thread (like me) while searching for the Sidearmor/Asgard detachable saddle... They're still being made by Asgard, but it's not on their site anymore. I was worried they're not making it anymore, but they spun off a different site, Mark Precision Design. I contacted Asgard to verify that the site was legit before ordering. Awesome product
