  1. Thank you NCswamp13, REZARF2, I will take a look at those suggestions and make a purchase. NCswamp13, I thought that I was crazy to think that a Red Dot or reflex sights useful for a shotgun...but why not? Unfortunately, I will not be shooting a for bit of time...fell on ice, broke my back in two places and broke 3 ribs. I should be ready to shoot again in a couple of months. But now I have some research to perform and a few purchases to make! Thank you and Happy New Year! Michael EDIT: Re optics failing...I never would have thought about that small detail. And typically, things break when they are being used. In this case, I can still use my gun!
  2. Thank you John Doe, NCswamp13, I included two photos of my M2. When I wrote scope above, I should have written Red Dot. I am not entirely sure about what questions to ask, but I thought that I could use a Red Dot to visually pin my target and then see how far off my shooting is... The barrel length is 18"...I have not yet removed the shell blocks. I super appreciate the help!
  3. I am new to shotting, anything. I bought a Binelli M2 in 2021 and then had double rotator cuff surgery. I shot the gun with my niece last week, who is quite experienced...I received about 30 minutes of intense safety handling before we began to shoot. I asked her about a scope mount...I then searched and found a ScalarWorks Binelli M4/M2 SBE Micro/01 Sync mount. Any help would be appreciated. ...incidentally, we shot from 35 yards and she was quite surprised to see my grouping...I've no idea but it was a nice compliment. Her Walker Game Ear muffs are pretty amazing tech. Thank you!
  4. Thank you all for your advise! bambihunter, I do prefer the M2 for its simplicity. I am trying to make arrangements to shoot one with a friend...even thought I may have a lust for the M2, I may not like shooting it...in the words of my friend. I did find a few websites that offer advance purchase when these are available, but the gun must be shipped to a registered re-seller. This makes sense to me. I did review a few used M2s, one from the links above - thank you bambihunter...but I worry that I do not have enough used gun knowledge...
  5. Hello all, I am new to this forum and I am a new gun enthusiast, despite having grown up in a gun family...as did my wife. I began target shooting with a pellet gun and a bow a couple of years ago and thought that I might try a shot gun - my wife's suggestion. However, I cannot find anyone who has an M2 or M4 series in stock. I live in New York if this matters. I did find a place that carries a 14.5" M2, but I prefer an 18"... I have been studying Benelli, Mossberg etc, but I am attracted to Benelli...and I still have a lot of family in Italy! Apologie4s if this post is all over the place! Michael
