Thank you for the info. I can pull it half way back when I start feeling resistance. I called Benelli and they also stated that its normal.

Hi guys, I just picked up my Benelli M4 and have a quick question. When the safety is ON and the hammer is UP I cant pull the bolt back. is that normal ? Thank You
