I traded in my 5-year-old black 20 gauge M2 a couple of weeks ago at our local Scheels and bought a 20 gauge and a 12 gauge in camo. Got home and checked the triggers, heavy and tons of creep. They remain unfired. Sent them back to Benelli, they're on their way back now. Talked to CS today, they said the triggers have no creep and measure 6# 4oz, and 6# 10oz. "In Spec". I just don't get it. I guess I'll have to replace the hammer and trigger springs myself. Anybody ever just cut the factory springs a bit at a time instead?
This isn't a unique problem, Randy Wakeman mentioned it in his M2 review.
