I took it to a gun shop and found a piece in the trigger group is broke. It’s getting sent in to Benelli

I recently acquired a nova. I took it sporting clay shooting the other day and it worked flawlessly for about 15 shots then it jammed. The slide would move about 1/4” and acted like it was hitting something. I removed the trigger group. And found the spring that goes underneath the hammer was popped out. I reinstalled the spring and cup. And shot it again. It fired one shell and wouldn’t cycle again. I removed the trigger group again and the same thing has happened. I quit using it for the day. Any idea what this could be happening?
