I previously had a SBEII and regretfully sold it. I’m aware of the specs for inertia guns and never tried light loads previously nor do I care too. I just purchased a new M2 field, there is no shortage of lead target ammo 1 1/8 oz 1200+ fps 3 dram; however, steel shot target loads under 7 1/2 shot size I have only found Winchester super-target. In the event I can’t find this, can I reliably shoot 1 oz steel shot that is higher velocity to “compensate” enough for the reduced payload? Recoil is not an issue just club rules in certain places so I wanted to know for future, I also prefer to shoot steel for environmental reasons I know, I hug trees…
Thanks folks,
