I'm just reviving this thread because I had the same exact issue. I would hit 5-6" high at 50 yd with the elevation bottomed out. I took the advice from here and disassembled the shotgun and cleaned it, Voila! now im hitting 5-6" low. Weird quirk but I'm happy to have this resolved.
