  1. I’ve had the same problem with the one from FFT. I communicated with them and they gave their song and dance. I’ve been around shotguns for a very long time and have never seen such a tight fit and lack of spacing. I just opted to eat it and purchase two for taran. Needless to say my business has navigated towards other vender’s. The said fact about FFT is that they won’t cowboy up to their poor design.

Interesting. Who is adopting the 1301?

To my knowledge no US Military has tested or opted for the  Beretta 1301. Still,  certain units in the Marine Corps used the 1014 . The 590 and 870 are still widely used even in the Marine Corps. But just like the 1911 the 1014 is a hoss, but the 1301 is no slouch, even though my round count on the 1301 is limited to roughly 3 months ( with no failures regardless of what I feed it) and My 1014 days started in 1999 I wouldn’t mine either weapons for an offensive or defensive situation. I’m blessed to own both.

  3. Greetings

Just a few lines to give my props to Mesa Tactical. A few weeks ago I purchase an Urbino pistol grip stock with limbsaver. While at the range on Friday 2/4/22 the limbsaver for some reason cracked. I called on that same day (Friday) and the kid in customer service was outstanding, needless to say today 2/7/22 I got a new limbsaver for the Benelli M4. I will continue to use them, with pleasure. Bravo!

  4. Greetings

Took the H2O on its first range day with the 508T. Out the box at 25 meters hitting center mass. The optic is mounted on a scalarworks. Ammo used was Remmington slugger; weapon would not cycle correctly. Switched to Winchester and all was good.

Has anyone had problems with the slugger ammo? My 1301 and 1014 eat it up.

Do i keep my carrier comp order in and wait until March, or do i put in an order with socomguy?   Are there any major differences between socomguy and carrier comp?

It all depends, at the end of the day they both carry 7; that’s my mine concern. I consider the 1014/M4 tools. Functionality is all that matters. I also have a 1014 , got the tube from benelli parts. I consider the one from socomguy better quality, besides I’m sure that he will stand behind his work. Once again for me it’s all about functionality.

  7. For those of you that like the Mesa tactical shell carrier. Mesa Tactical will be coming out with the same design but with the ability to install a RMR. I guess it should be hitting the shelves Within the next couple weeks.

  8. Greetings

just stumbled across the forum and decide to join. Looks like  good streams of information to help me enhance my M4. I fell in love with the M4 back in 1999 when I was in the Corps and they let’s us fire them for about 3 days as part of the integration of the weapon to the FMF. LOVE at first sight. Hopefully I can continue to expand my knowledge of the weapon system on this forum. In addition I have a 1301 LE and a Super Nova tactical.

    Keep the good info coming.
