  1. I missed the fixed stock part. It's 1.25 on the collapsible both front and back.
  2. Look for Clint Smith's shotgun videos on youtube. He covers a lot of good things. One of the videos has a visual representation of a shotgun pattern at different distances. You still HAVE to aim with a shotgun!
  3. I am using a standard Magpul MS1 sling that works in both front and rear slots. Any "mil-spec" sling should work such as BCM, etc...
  4. M4 is also my first shotgun. While I have no plans on using it for home defense, I am signed up for a 3 day shotgun class to learn more about this family of firearms. As Ben elLes mentioned, no warning shot nonsense, etc... Private citizens are not LE. Personally, I think a carbine/SBR (esp suppressed) or a handgun are a better home defense than shotgun.
  5. I did some more testing, and the issue may not be as bad as I initially thought. The charging handles - both OEM and aftermarket need some force to rotate. The problem usually happens when I rack the bolt under the gun. If I am not paying attention, my finger can impart some rotational force while moving my hand away at the end. This is what caused the handles to come out. When inserted, the handle doesn't come out if pulled in a straight direction, away from the bolt. I will be going to a three-day shotgun class. Will see how it does there.
  6. Mine is Benelli M4 Tactical - 11715. Is there a proper way to insert a charging handle? Generally, I push/rotate it until it's in and give it a pull to make sure it's seated.
  7. I purchased Daves Metal Works "Tactical Bolt Handle" for Benelli M4. After installation, I notice that the handle can rotate. Depending on how I manipulate it (support hand, under the gun), it can rotate more, to the point of coming out and falling from the bolt carrier during dry fire. The same is happening with OEM handle. Is there a solution to that? Are there any aftermarket bolt handles that do not rotate?
  8. I am relatively new to shotguns and looking for recommendations for ammo for M4: 1. Cheapest target ammo 2. Cheapest target slugs 3. Self-defense buckshot 4. Self-defense slugs
  9. I managed to grab one from extremeguns. Thanks to this forum!
  10. I am trying to find a Benelli M4 LE (7 round tube, collapsible stock, Model 11721). I would appreciate any pointers to any stores that might have them in stock as well as private sales.
