Just an update, I cleaned and oiled it and it shoots great now. I thought about trying that before posting but didn't figure that would help since it was a new gun. Thank you all for your help, hopefully this will help someone else that might have the same problem.

Ok thank you I will try another brand of ammo and see if it makes it better. I have tried Federal TSS 3.5", Federal Premium 3.5", and Federal Premium 3". I have some Winchester XR 3.5" I'll give them a try.

Nothing added except a sling

It's a new gun. The first round is ejected cleanly and it'll drop the next round from the magazine but the bolt stays open and doesn't even try to close.

I just bought a SBE3 and shot probably 20 light load rounds 2-3/4" and it cycled fine, took it turkey hunting using 3-1/2" shells and it would should the first round but not cycle another round in the chamber, tried 3" shells and same thing wouldn't chamber the 2nd round

I've got an SBE3 and I am taking it turkey hunting and was wondering if it is OK to shoot TSS shot through factory choke
