So you have the Magpul MS1 Padded… I kept seeing the MSI when I searched. I go to the website and I see they are coming out with a “Lite” version. Choosing between the 3 is very difficult.

I’m in the market for a sling, I’ve used the search but feel like this would be something cool to have updated feedback with. Looking for what you have, like, and dislike. Also, pictures are always good.

Where did you find this information? Everything I see says if I have both an adjustable stock and a full size barrel that I need to change 4 parts to US made parts. This whole thing is super confusing.

For those of you who bought the LE versions of the M4, what 4 parts did you change? I can’t decide what will alter the gun the least. Any of these swaps make a big difference in performance? This is a list of what needs to be changed..
- Receiver
- Barrel
- Bolt
- Bolt carrier
- Gas piston
- Trigger housing
- Trigger
- Hammed
- Disconnector
- Buttstock (with integral pistol grip)
- Forearm/handguard (forend)
- Magazine body
- Follower

I keep seeing pictures of people having bought different charging handles for their M4. I’m kind of a noob when it comes to this so, what difference does it make? Best one out there? Or is it all cosmetic?

Every time I shoot this gun(and it’s always no less than 250 shots a session) something comes loose. I added the shell carrier, almost fell off so I added loctite. The light, almost came off, added loctite. The strap for the light, almost came off, added loctite. Today the shell carrier was loose. Strange because I added loctite. Must have broken it free. I did use the red M-242 because of not knowing if I wanted to remove it down the road. Well, everything is freshly tightened. Not bitching, just amazed at the power of this gun . Love it.

Would that much friction with the bronze brush damage the barrel?

Anyone have any solutions on getting this buildup out of the barrel? It was clean and lubed before todays session. Went through around 200 rounds of buckshot and some slugs. Nothing crazy. I’ve got hoppes bore cleaner to try and get it out and it’s not budging.

Has anyone tried this. Supposed to be 2,000 Lumens for under $200. I might give it a try since Surefire is taking their sweet time fixing my factory broken light.

I’m glad I got the LE version with the extended tube. Ridiculous they even sell a limited version.

Carrier comp spring solved my issues. Get that one. This is the one I got, I have the full 7+1 tube. I’m not 100% of this will work for you since yours isn’t the full tube. Anyone know?
