  1. Hello there and thanks for having me on your awesome forum. I have finally bought my first Benelli shotgun after wanting one for years! Today I bought a brand new Benelli Super Vinci in Max-5 camo on sale from Bass Pro Shops here in Ontario Canada. It was a great deal as far as Canadian dollars are concerned, $1399 plus tax brand new. Compare that to $1785 for a new black M2 or $2500 for a new camo SBE-3. I picked through two brand new never opened SV and chose the one with less camo paint scuffs. I have got it home and taken it apart and played with it a bit more today. I have noticed that just about every time I shoulder the gun there is an annoying "creaking" sound coming from the soft black cheek comb piece and also the butt pad. It's the sound of the softer rubber rubbing on the harder plastic, I guess it's moving ever so slightly. When I press my cheek on the comb I hear it and when I press the butt pad into my shoulder I hear it. Has anyone else ever noticed this sound on their Comfortech stocks on any of their Benelli's? Is this something that gets better with time and after use, dipped in a lake once or twice, bit of dirt or grime gets in those seams? Thanks
