I took it apart again and can't figure out where the rough spot is. I'm going to give it one more cleaning overhaul this weekend. The gun itself shoots great and will still rack, but it is not operating as smoothly as it once did.

I'm going to have to try to clean it out again and will look for the burs and shiny spots you mentioned. So frustrating that this happened.

I have a Supernova Pump that has recently started sticking when racking the slide. I'm not sure what it is. Took it apart and cleaned it all up and still. I know there is something simple that I'm probably missing and need to ask for help at this time. Hopefully the video will post and show where it gets stuck. If anyone has had this happen to them before, would love to know what you did. Ben3.mp4

I'm new to the site but not to Benelli and I couldn't find this topic during a search. I just purchased my second benelli, it's the ethos super sport. I really liked it during a trap shoot, but it was launching shells at the patrons to my right. The gun is a beautiful gun and I'm leary about putting putting a shell catcher on there in case i want to remove it. Does anyone know if it will damage the finish of the gun or if there are other suggestions to install it so not to damage the gun?
