  1. Well, the screw doesn't stop. It is much easier to reinsert it if you remove the action.
  2. I got it. it is a bit easier with the bolt out to see. BTW, if you are setting it as low as possible, I confirmed with Benelli's smiths that the set screw will stop when you are as low as can go... I was worried I might have the thing pop out on me and have a whole different set of issues...
  3. Hello all! I am working on adjusting my Lupo trigger. I have the factory spec specialty allen key (I think it might be a square shape?) and the manual says to access the screw through the ejection port. I am having the darndest time getting this key to seat in the adjustment screw and actually make an adjustment. Have any of you done this successfully and, if so, could you please provide any tips/tricks/advice that helped you? Thank you! Q
  4. Hi all. I was shooting a new Benelli Lupo and noticed some marks on the receiver. I spoke with Benelli and was told it looked like surface rust; I cleaned it using the prescribed method and oiled it. Back to the range a few weeks later and the marks returned! I realized it is probably the spent casing flipping 180 degrees on ejection and the case is smacking the receiver. Should it be doing this from the factory? I think I can tune it to stop, but wondered if this is expected behavior or if I just got an overly aggressive plunger spring and am not sure how I feel about having to tune a higher end gun the day that I get it... Thanks!
  5. I have a Tourbon model for my lever gun... same idea. While I understand this can obviate the need for the combtech, it begs the question, then why buy the combtech in the first place! Doh!
  6. Nope, I am on the "notify" list with Benelli and Midwest GW, I confirmed that the Canadian suppliers will not ship to the US. I will say that after raising the comb to max I am pretty close and can probably used "raised" instead of "high" but at this point would gladly buy either. Let me know if you have any luck, and I will report back if I do. Benelli has no ETA for these or for the muzzle break (though there is a wide assortment of these elsewhere).
  7. Hi all. My Rem 700 is extremely quiet as the bolt cycles, and is a 2 lug design. I recently had a Franchi Momentum Elite (3 lug bolt with raceway) and now I have the Lupo (similar bolt catch design) and both of those actions are a little noisy and you can feel the bolt catch running the raceway a wee bit. Do 3 lug designs need to have a raceway? Will this noise reduce over time as the action breaks in? Is there an after market bolt catch release button that will engage the raceway less, or is there any way to eliminate/diminish this noise. It's not the end of the world, but it bugs me a little and I think prevents the action from being as smooth as it could be. Thank you! QPM
  8. Hi all! Proud owner of a new Benelli Lupo. Part of the draw of the rifle is the ability to custom fit it.... to do so I need the Combtech Gel Comb (Looking for "high" Benelli part number 61808). Benelli is sold out with no ETA and I can't find them anywhere (there are a few in CAN, but the stores don't ship to the US). Seems silly to buy a cheek rest that snaps on when this rifle was made for me to be able to alter it, but customizability doesn't mean much if you can't actually buy the parts. Does anyone know where I can source one of these? Thanks much, I appreciate it! Q
