  1. I believe the rib-mount S1 JUST released 1/17, and I'd be surprised if anyone has experience with it yet.
  2. I did not get an email confirmation. I reached out and got a response a couple of days later that they had indeed received my order and confirmed the ETA. Right on schedule I got a call from the gal to collect payment and it was sent out a week later! Very small crew there. Very well-made product. Lightweight and the color match is pretty spot on.
  3. I decided to bring the stock to work and see if any of our technicians had any old school fixes in mind, we ended up getting the bolt undone and the issue situated. It was indeed cross-threaded but only hand tight and barely half a thread on but enough to unscrew the cap itself and get stuck. Once we had devised a device to hold tension on the Recoil Tube Cap within the stock, it spun out with ease. Many oddball sized pairs of forceps, cut sections of fuel line to bite against, and long skinny wedges later LOL. Later, when reassembling the M4 in stock configuration, I found that the culprit to be that the OEM Circlip is extremely loose in the groove on the Recoil Tube itself. Unsure if anyone else has experienced this but I can shake it out if I try hard enough, otherwise a fingernail can unseat it and it will fall out. Going to pick up another when I head to the hardware store to get the correct M8x1.00 bolt. Odd issues all around but glad to have it situated!
  4. I've seen a few people complaining about fitment issues on these Panzer Wood stock sets but like many, I still caved and bought a set since the price was right. During installation however, I may have hit a snag that I don't think anyone else has hit and I am looking for some advice before consulting a gunsmith or someone with more tools than I. I had removed my C-stock and Pistol Grip and was mocking up the Wood stock fitment, testing the hardware etc. I had mounted the stock and started to thread the supplied bolt into my recoil tube and found it too be a bit long and needing another washer to provide adequate clamping force onto the receiver. I then started to unscrew it and disassemble once again. However, while removing the supplied bolt, I felt a twang and realized the recoil spring had shot out! Now, the problem I am having is that the factory Circlip that retains the threaded recoil tube cap was not properly installed (brand spanking new M4, never even fired) and allowed it to thread all of the way out. I now have a bolt stuck in my stock and no way to grab onto the threaded recoil tube cab on the other side. Any ideas on how to hold or brace it so I can remove the bolt? The inner diameter of the wood stock is pretty narrow, and I can't find anything quite long enough that can open wide enough to clamp onto the recoil tube cap so I can back the bolt out of the stock.
  5. Good Evening Folks, After missing both used and new options that have come up for sale over the last 8 months or so (even as recently as this past Tuesday), I figured I'd try my luck to see if anyone has an IWC scout mount for an M4 for sale. I know it's a longshot and many prefer to keep a spare in their parts bin. This is the last piece of the puzzle for my dream shotgun. Feel free to reach out, looking forward to seeing if anyone is willing. Have a good night!
  6. Safe to assume this is no longer lying in a parts bin somewhere?
