  1. Yep i looked everything. No burr anywhere. I also putted a straight edge right on the wear with a light behind to see if the bolt is uneven and i can’t see anything. My guess is that maybe there’s too much chrome on that ledge. At least i’m happy it works really well
  2. Thats what i think too. I will see what i do in few months. I can’t warranty it anyway as it is for now because i’m the second owner… at least it functions well
  3. It’s 100% not normal…suck for a 2k gun. I’m not the original owner(bought it new on the secondary)so they may not warranty it… at least it functions really well and it’s not deep scratches in the metal. It’s really only the finish. Which still sucks…
  4. it’s not really the barrel. It’s the part that is part of the barrel that goes in the receiver. I putted sharpie on it to see where it rubs and it’s exactly at the same place as the first picture you showed me where yours wears too. I think it’s mostly a cosmetic issue because there’s no digging in the metal at all and the gun shoots A1 everything i put in it. If benelli won’t do anything because i’m not the original owner(which would suck for a gun that price) i think i’ll just shoot it a ton and send the bolt carrier to get custom milled and dlc coated.
  5. I have the receipt from the guy i bought it from. I’ll try my best to be the more happy possible with that expensive purchase!
  6. i’ve putted sharpie on the wear and cycle the action to see where it rubs. It rubs against that chrome lined part of the barrel. I can’t feel anything when touching it. It’s only visually. It really bugs me seeing that on a 2k gun when even cheap truknelli are ok lol. The gun eat everything tho, nothing to complain on that side
  7. that’s the answer i got from the company who is in charge of the benelli’s warranty in Canada. I bought it new on the secondary and it sucks because from what i’ve read, the warranty is only for the first owner…. I’m pretty bumped about my first gun…. Was going with the best to not have problems and here i am!!! Sweeeeettttt
  8. That’s what i think too. Apparently wear is normal on moving parts(from benelli). They told me to make sure everything is assembled correctly and that if everything works correctly then it’s ok. Maybe the finish on the bolt is cheaper on the newer models than it used to be in the past. The finish wears off at the same place of yours on your picture so i guess it really is a cheaper finish on the carrier
  9. yes it’s to bare metal. But it’s only the cerakoted finish that wears. The metal is not scratched at all. I’ll keep it oiled and maybe after it has break in correctly i’ll send it getting milled and dlc coated. The "cheaper" finish will be a thing from the past. Thanks for the answer!
  10. Big thank you! I’m new to guns and it’s also a first for me to spend that much money on something like this. I’ll learn to see wear forming on it through the years of use.
  11. in fact i think it’s the chrome that is chipping of the part of the barrel that goes in the receiver…
  12. Hey guys! I’m new to the M4 familly and i have a quick question. Is it normal to see that kind of wear on the bolt carrier? I’ve never seen any other M4 like this. It rubs against the part of the barrel that goes into the receiver. I don’t feel anything when passing my nail on any of these wearing spots so i think it’s only finish that wears off. I have to say that i love the gun and it works really good. I’ve shot around 400 rounds of target loads and another 100 of buckshot without any malfunction. I’m curious because it’s my first gun and i don’t know much in the subject. Thank you in advance!
