Solved the issue. It was the way the heat shield I added clipped on to the base of the barrel. It prevented the slide from racking all the way to the rear.

I have a Supernova Tactical pistol grip that is only about two months old and my first shotgun. My issue comes with feeding. I was at the range yesterday and it wouldn't load from the tube. I tore it down,tested it with dummy shells, and I can cycle shells without the barrel on. However, once the barrel is on the shells no longer exit the tube. The action cycles perfectly. It's almost like the button on the slide is pressed to perform a manual load, but it's not. I can manually press the little catch and the shells will eject, but when assembled it just won't feed.
