A while back, before I decided on getting the m lok grip, I got the release tab from rxarms (and the large bolt charging piece), but I don’t know if I can still use it with the m lok handguard. The small metal hook of the tab that goes into the gun when you disassemble it and then gets held by the reassembled gun, doesn’t seem to fit with the plastic ring necessary for the m lok handguard. I don’t want to try to jam it in there incase it messes up the plastic m lok piece. Does this make sense? Thank you!

Hi, I bought a Streamlight 88066 ProTac Rail Mount HL-X from amazon for my m4. Do I need an m lok handguard for it? I know others here said there are lights which mount with the oem handguard. I got this light first because I decided to go the m lok route. Midway usa has the m lok handguard for a benelli m4. I could always return this light to amazon and just go the other way.

Nice, so I’ll just buy the light & mount combo and I’m set, right? Is installation difficult? How do you control the light on your shotguns? I briefly read of a pressure switch, not sure what that is.

That looks great, my m4 is black with no pistol grip (not allowed in Illinois, unfortunately), I will probably copy your exact setup! Do you get a big shadow from the barrel with the light? Does it not even matter?
