The problem of the Mesa M1 Urbino tactical stock design is minor
Problem 1 When you look into the receiver end of the stock with the handle down, there are two holes for the dowel pins. The lower dowel pin nearest the hand grip will never work because it is set so high it interferes with the trigger assembly back tail that slides into the stock. You can't install the stock with the trigger assembly installed. If you install the stock first the trigger assembly will not slide back on the tail far enough to replace the pin. Solution: do not use that pin closest to the handguard and use a dremil to carve the plastic for that pin to where only 1/2 to 3/4 of the hole for the pin remains. The tail of the trigger guard sit there.
Problem 2. The filler plates have notches for the pins. My filler plates OD was to large to clear the rear tail of the trigger assembly. I ground of about 3/8 on just the lower OD where the indexing pin would have passed thru.
