Mostly Kent but it is more like something that was completely sprayed on first and then bits and pieces starting to come off

Noticed this when cleaning my relatively new M2 Field after end of waterfowl season. Is this just over spray of Cerakote that is supposed to come off?

I have an M2 field 12 gauge. The fiber optic front sight keeps loosening up. If I tighten so it’s lined up it’s not tight enough and then the next shot loosens it. If I tighten down snug it would be out of alignment. Any suggestions?
