Thanks for the reply! I bought the one from Midway a couple of weeks ago, it's the one that doesn't look as beefy as the original. They had it in stock in the middle of January so I bought 2. My original somehow got bent but I had a gunsmith straighten it so I could hunt the next day. It's been working fine but he recommended I replace it. Now that waterfowl is over, I thought I'd go ahead and try it but didn't want to mess anything else up in the gun. Since you mentioned it, I read the comments on that part and now see that someone tried it and it worked. Think I could try it or should I not?
