  1. Yea, I agree with this. It’s most likely the same reason they got rid of the NP3 too: charge you the same price for a worse product. They definitely are using a new process too because they discontinued the OEM bolt in 2021, so you can’t buy it as a backup anymore. I guess with all the issues from COVID, they started experimenting a little.
  2. This company really is something else. I love my shotgun, but this is not the only issue I’ve noticed either. I also have a slight wear pattern forming on a visible area of the bolt, which is definitely not in spec based on the dozens of other M4 bolts I’ve seen. I’m really disappointed that a company held so high has lost its touch. I’ll contact them tomorrow to see if they’ll maybe do something for me. However, I doubt my bolt wear is due to a new process because it’s literally wearing off to where I can see the bare metal underneath.
  3. I was cleaning my M4 and noticed that the chrome lining on the bolt seemed bubbly and just off. I looked at photos of used M4s and their bolts look to be as shiny as the day they rolled off the assembly line. Is this something I should contact Benelli for? Or am I just being pedantic?
