P.s. I plan on hunting Turkey, which I found some replacements on line. But for the Upland Birds, The Cylinder * is only rated for 25 yards and the Improved Cylinder ** is only rated for 30 yrds. So I'm guessing If I go with the Modified *** I will get farther distance but the pattern closes up significantly. So my next question becomes what size shot does every one use with all three varieties? I've never hunted snow geese and would like to have the best combination possible to start. I may need to go to a different forum to get this info, I just thought I'd ask here.

Acording to the info from Benelli, my gun came with five flush-mounted Crio choke tubes (Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full). Only the more open chokes—specifically the Cylinder (C), Improved Cylinder (IC), and Modified (M)—are rated for steel shot. All 5 choke tubes are in the following picture except the #4 which came inserted in the gun. None of the chokes have any engraving on them, so once you remove the stickers your at the mercy of some pretty weak notching to identify which choke is which. I was contemplating buying aftermarket choke but this is where I have zero knowledge of what to replace them with.

Hi There folks, I am fairly new to the Benelli line up. I recently won a Vinci 12 gauge at a wildlife fundraiser and am curious what I can shoot through this puppy. I have minimal experience hunting with a 12 gauge as I normally just use a 410 for grouse and higher powered riffles for big game. I have tried skeet shooting and love it as well. My question is, the gun states 3" does that mean I can use anything up too and including 3" length shells? Second, it came with 5 chokes. I am familiar with choke technology but I'm stuck on what chokes to use for upland game bird. I hear folks go with Carlesons Turkey chokes for turkey as appossed to the factory chokes, however for upland game bird im a complete newbie. Obviously need to handle steel shot but that's where my limited knowledge ends. I need help with choke, shot size and shell size. Any help anyone can provide, I would truely appreciate it. P.s. I am located west of Edmonton Alberta Canada, so not familiar with American ammo here. I don't even know if it varies between countries. Does it? P.s.s. no hating on me for winning this, I give a lot to that charity and I've more then paid for the gun...trust me...lol. all for a great cause.

You may want to recheck the case again as mine were under the main component mold. If you got the original box with it.
