I also have a Vinci whose stock has turned into flypaper. And it has now infected the recoil pad such that if I gently rub my thumb over it, it disintegrates in my hand. I am also a Canadian who has been told by Stoeger Canada that they will do nothing for me since the gun is out of warranty. I respect the concept of warranty, but such an issue as this redounds not only to the clear evidence of poor design not attributable to the owner, but as well, the integrity of the manufacturer in building and maintaining the 'good will' necessary for longevity in the market place.
