Meprolight install issue

Bought a set of meprolight tritium sights. The rear sight will not accept the OEM benelli windage adjustment screw. (The current thread is too small - just slightly)

 

I figured I would just tap the rear sight. (it almost seems like they threaded it, THEN parkerized it and the threads will not accept screw)

 

I figured it would clean the threads and I would be on my way.

 

But I will be damned if I can find a tap.

 

Any suggestions?
