DETECTIVE1108 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Considering buying this for my M-4, but the installation instructions say that one must "custom" fit the handguards, even though the adverts say that no gunsmithing is required. ???? What's the deal? Anyone have firsthand knowledge if they slap right on or require a Dremel? Quote
Hookster Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) Hey Detective, I believe the MAKO is the same unit also called Fab Defense or Fabarm. You can do a site search under those names and see what's been posted in the past but people usually have fit issues and need to do some dremeling to make it work. Here's a recent thread with someone trying to sell one here for $40 (don't know if they had any takers on it or not) http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19972 They are also not U.S. made if you are thinking of adding a FL tube and are worried about 922r compliance.
