sanada
Hi all, I've had my R1 a few months, and just recently had an issue. The wooden forestock screwed off normally, and I inserted the stud at the front of it into the holes on the front gas chamber to screw it off. The gas chamber is on so tight that the stud snapped. I've tried prying the gas chamber open a bit too, to no avail. So now I'm left with two issues; where can I get another wooden forestock? And what's the best way to get my gas chamber opened to clean the gun? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
stid2677
You might have a warranty issue. If not try http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/cid=7/mfg=301/Products/Rifle_Parts/BENELLI for parts. I used some gun cleaning solvent and soaked the assembly and used a cut off screwdriver as a tool to remove the nut. Might want a gunsmith to do it because it is stuck, then make sure you clean it after each use. Good Luck Steve
