How do i remove sling attachment plate on M4?

hi, everyone

i am a new owner of benelli m4. Trying to remove the "sling attachment plate" part# 067J, just cannot get it.

Should just pull out part# 133J by force? or unscrew other parts? Please give me some input if you know how... tks

I don't have my parts book handy, are you talking about the one in the stock or on the mag tube?

You need snap ring pliers. You can get them cheap at Sears, The ring has two holes in it on each side of the opening, insert the pliers tips there.

Which way do you turn the snap ring?  I would assume left however it looks like the snap ring will hit the barrel and not turn left?

yes, about the the snap ring pliers and no need to turn/rotate. It should come straight out easily.
