Nova vs 1300 vs BPS for trap/upland

I'm not worried about the weight for carrying in a feild, I am worried about it kicking me with recoil.

 

Is the nova 8 pounds without the recoil reducer? I would only be firing 2-3/4 shells mainly.

 

I do not have a chance to try any of them out, but I have a SxS that weighs 8 pounds and its not too bad with a slip on recoil pad.

well iam 6'4 275 and i have a nova and a super black and the nova dosnt do bad with the 2-3/4 but if you are going to the3 our 3-1/2 you better get a recoil reduser becase it will put a thump on you pretty good the super back no problem with recoil with any load
